Unfortunately I haven't reviewed any baby diapers yet so I don't have a good reference point. But in my data I found the fastest absorbing diapers with leak guards to be the NorthShore Supreme, Seni Super Quatro, Attends Premier Overnight, and Drylife SlipSuper.
Great question! I can typically finish only 1~2 per month. These reviews take quite a bit of work so it's hard to go much faster than that. I typically work on suggestions based on availability and try to prioritize those on the list that with affordable shipping to this region.
Great! you provide detailed and thorough reviews, so I can see that would take a bit of time. I have found these helpful in making a product decision. I echo the thoughts of comparing the fit/profile post use to the pre-use images.
How soon can you review the Nateen product? It's available at a decent price in Canada!
Thanks for the great feedback. I've certainly got plans to incorporate the pre/post images into the reviews, I just haven't had the time to rework the tests to cover it. When I do get around to it I'll try to backfill for the previous reviews.
Also, thanks for the suggestion on Nateen. I hadn't heard of this product before. I can prioritize it for my next round of product purchases when I have the budget for another round, so probably in a few months.
Thanks so much for your suggestion. It's surprising to hear these might fit an adult, but I can certainly give it a try in a future review. I've added them to the review suggestions (https://blog.diapermetrics.com/p/diaper-review-suggestions_14.html).
Thanks so much for your suggestion. I've tried these in the past and they can indeed fit an adult. I'll certainly look into doing a future review to see how they compare with other products we've formally reviewed. I've added them to the review suggestions (https://blog.diapermetrics.com/p/diaper-review-suggestions_14.html).
Would it be possible to add the data collected from your tests to a chart or spreadsheet? The reviews are very useful, but it can be a little difficult to compare the data from different diapers.
Thanks so much for the feedback! I haven't had time to build anything fancy but I'll see if I can link a public spreadsheet with the upcoming annual top 10 review. We're hoping to launch a companion site next year that should make these reviews easier to navigate.
I am UIC and output an extreme amount because of a genetic disorder and the medication used to control it. Meaning, I can easily wet 2500-3000 mL overnight. I manage using NorthShore Megamax with a NorthShore booster. I find the booster not only helps with quantity, but also with distribution; more padding used throughout the diaper, both lying and sitting. I would be interested if your testing backed this up. Let me know how I can help.
Thanks so much for the suggestions! I've updated our list of suggestions to include these NorthShore products. I haven't had a chance to test the NorthShore ExternaDry but it sounds like it's incredibly absorbent. Interesting that it also helps with distribution, perhaps it contains a material with better wicking ability than the underlying diaper.
"Rearz Daydreamer" (https://rearz.ca/daydreamer-diapers/) and especially, the brand new "Omutsu Purrfection" (https://rearz.ca/omutsu-purrfection-adult-diapers/) appear to be the thickest diapers on the market. Rearz DayDreamer is already on your review list. Reviewing these two garments would not only bolster your existing review table, but would likely result in these two taking the top spots for 1. Absorbency, 2. Dry Thickness, and 3. Wet Thickness. Reviewing only these two garments would help in keeping your review table updated and modern.
If someone did want to send you either to review, how would that work? Would you provide them your address? And how long after it was sent would you post the review?
Hello, thanks so much for the suggestions! I've updated the list to include the Omutsu Purrfection, while it seems I'd had the Daydreamer in the list from a reader previous suggestion. Looking at the listed absorbency these indeed seem like they would push the limited of the current list. I'd be quite curious to see how they'd stack up!
To your question. I have received packages for review from readers and am always happy to accelerate reviews in those cases. The best way to reach out would be through the review suggestions form (https://blog.diapermetrics.com/p/diaper-review-suggestions.html) and provide a contact email address to connect back to. I'd then email back my address for delivery. With respect to timing, I typically have time to review 1~2 per month so I'd expect to have any review completed within a month or so from when the package arrives.
Thanks so much for the suggestion! I do have a review of plastic pants as part of the larger reusable underwear review - Carer W66. I'd be happy to take suggestions for others.
I think these three diapers will be at the top of the pack when you review them.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure your suggestions came through, there were a few suggested last week but nothing showed up today.
DeleteI apologize for not checking this until today; I resent the suggestions and I think they went through this time.
DeleteNo worries. Thanks for the great suggestions, I've updated the list!
DeleteHello, Are there an adult diapers you have tested that absorb quickly like a baby diaper, have leak guards and come in a size small? Thanks

DeleteHow long does it take you to complete a review?
ReplyDeleteDo you work through the suggestions from top to bottom, or from ease of access?

Now that Pull-ups come in size 5t - 6t and could fit an adult, please consider reviewing them.

How about plastic pants?

DeleteHow about pull up size 5t65?
